Hannah Neumeyer

Owner, Therapist

A smiling woman with blonde curly hair, glasses, and a striped hoodie smiling in front of a light-colored wall with artwork. Hannah Neumeyer, owner and therapist at Lily Pad Mental Health.

My name is Hannah and I am the owner and therapist at Lily Pad Mental Health. I work with kids, teens, and their parents/guardians. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, ADHD, as well as the other struggles your child may face: trouble with friendships, self-esteem, keeping up with responsibilities, and finding enjoyment in their day-to-day. I also enjoy working with parents and guardians to teach them strategies that they can use to support their child, improve communication, manage difficult behaviors, and find more peace at home and as a family. If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, I would love to work together to help you reach your goals!

In undergrad I double-majored in Psychology and Child and Family Studies at Ashland University. I received my master's degree in mental health counseling from Bowling Green State University in 2017.

I have been a licensed therapist for 8 years. I am an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider as well as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider.

In the past I primarily worked with ages 4-14 but I do work with older teens who are seeking treatment specifically for anxiety disorders or ADHD.

My typical treatment modalities are CBT, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Play Therapy. Through my training I am also able to provide an assessment for ADHD and a written report as needed.

Your Safe Space for Healing: Lily Pad Mental Health

To me, the lily pad represents a safe place on the journey from one end of the pond to the next. As therapists, we represent a safe place for our clients. In the therapy office they can voice any thoughts, feelings, or concerns, and the therapist will listen and sit with them without judgment.

The therapeutic relationship is also not meant to last forever. The goal is that eventually our clients no longer need us and they can move to the next chapter of their life.

As we move forward in life, each safe person we come across is like a lily pad that helps us along the way. Even when your journey isn't certain, in therapy you have a safe place to land until you make your way to the next lily pad.
